Key Skills: Must be able to count money, make change, operate mobile credit card reader and verify adults age 21 and older by checking ids. Be outgoing, friendly and able to create a great first impression for all Homegrown Music Festival attendees!
Responsibilities include sharing festival information (like location of bathrooms, ticket stands, and VIP section), Sale of wristbands, checking ID for 21 and older wristbands, and collecting donations. These are shared responsibilities amongst all volunteers during each time slot, and can be either pre-determined by preference, or decided at the beginning of each shift. Length of Shift: 2 Hours

Merchandise Table: Age restriction 16 yrs old. and is responsible to sell the merchandise for the HomeGrown Festival and also sell for the individual bands that have items for sale. Must be well organized, and be able to set and take down displays quickly and efficiently. Must be good with money and making change and able to use mobile credit card processor to payments. Ability to handle money, count change, and provide festival information (bathroom, band schedule, food and refreshment options, locations of vendor booths). Beer Runner: Age restriction 21 years old. Service of beer and water to patrons of the festival. Must be diligent about alcohol service to patrons who are 21 years or older (indicated by wristband, available at entry). Must be able to count and take appropriate number of tickets for predetermined values of beverages. Provide festival information (bathroom, band schedule, food and refreshment options, locations of vendor booths). Length of Shift: 2 Hours

Cashier (Beer Sales): Age restriction 21 yrs old. is responsible for cash sales of alcoholic beverages for HomeGrown Festival. Must be good with money and making change and able to use a mobile credit card processor to take payments. Ability to handle money, count change, and provide festival information (bathroom, band schedule, food and refreshment options, locations of vendor booths). VIP Hospitality: Must be 21 or older. Create and maintain a welcoming environment for VIP guests; greeting, stocking food and beverage and provide festival information (bathroom, band schedule, food and refreshment options, locations of vendor booths). Service skills are key. Will be given important emergency contact information for incidents that may occur during the festival. Length of Shift: 2 Hours
