West Bend based and hometown favorites The Freques will get the party started right with their soulful American folk roots music!

Wise Jennings is a husband and wife duo from southern Wisconsin. As original artists they have made a name for themselves delivering high energy shows with a unique song writing and performance style. They sound like a Punk, Psycho-billy, Alt-Americana, Outlaw Country burrito if there was such a thing and you could listen to it.

Chris Haise is a songwriter from Wauwatosa, WI. Chris's musical background includes traditional training on several instruments as well as many instruments he as learned by himself. With an esoteric style, Chris appeals to audiences across genres and geography

Known by many as the first band ever to be kicked out of Wal-Mart for playing an illegal show, BRETT NEWSKI & THE NO TOMORROW are 90’s kids playing shows all over Europe and North America.

A high-energy dose of toe-tapping Americana folk-country rock drenched in tight harmonies spewing lyrics of love, loss, regret, death, and hope.

PLAY
The Homegrown Music Festival exclusively features Wisconsin bands, artists and songwriters, hence the name “Homegrown.” Each year, the festival lineup is carefully curated from upwards of 100 submissions. Past performers include Nickel & Rose, Zach Pietrini, Jay Matthes and I’m Not a Pilot.
 
The festival is a branch of the Hometown Foundation, a 501 c3 that supports arts and cultural institutions in the Kettle Moraine area.
 
In addition to the bands, Homegrown has become known for corn roasts, food carts, and small batch beer from Cedarburg’s Fermentorium Brewery. The fest is powered by donations from local businesses. Bands still get paid, and proceeds are still helping support the History Center of Washington County.
